About DIU-Dhaka International University
DIU-Dhaka International University is one of the established and leading non-govermant universities in Bangladesh.The intial plan began in 1994 but the university was established in 1995.It is now operated as government apporoved university under the Non-Goverment University Act of 1992 (as amended in 1998).
Founder
DIU was founded by a renounce philanthropist and humanist Late Alhaj Prof. Dr. A.B.M. Mofizul Islam Patwari. He was the Professor and former Chairman, Dept. of Law, University of Dhaka.
Accreditation
All DIU curricula have been approved by the University Grants Comission,The Goverment of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, private Sector Organizations and International Agencies across the country and International Agencies across the country and abroad accept the academic standerds of DIU.
Faculty
Educational programs at DIU are conducted by the qualified and experienced faculty members coming from home and overseas. The teachers are selected fairly and wisely by an expert panel from submitted applications. They play a dominant and vital role to promote the academic sped and standard of the university. At the moment the number of full time faculties are over 100.
