15th Foundation Day
The 15th Foundation Day of Dhaka International University will be celeberated on 7 April 2010 at 3.00 pm at Bangabandhu Internatoinal Conferance Centre (Carnival Hall). Prof. (Dr.) Syed Modasser Ali, Adviser to Honorable Prime Minister, Health & Family Walfare and Social Welfare Affairs, has kindly consented to grace the occasion as Chief Guest.
Md. Israfil Alam MP, Chairman, Standing Committee on Ministery of Labour and Employment, has kindly consented to grace the occasion as Special Guest. Professor Dr. Nurul Momen, Vice-Chancellor of the University, Barrister Shameem Haider Patwary, Vice-Chairman, BOG, Advocate Rokaya Islam, Chairperson, Finance Committee, Dr. Shahed Kamal Patwari, Member, BOG, will also remain present at the ceremony as Special Guests. Dr. S. Quadir Patwari, Chairman, Board of Governors, will preside over the ceremony.

Launching Ceremony of the Journal of the
Dhaka International University
The Launching Ceremony of the University Journal will be held on 5 April 2010 at 4.00 pm at Banani, House 67/D, Road # 11 in the Seminar Hall. Professor Nazrul Islam, the Honorable Chairman, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, has kindly consented to grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The Chairman of the Board of Governors, Dr. S. Quadir Patwari, will be present at the ceremony as Special Guest. The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Dr. Nurul Momen, will preside over the function.

The 14th Founding Anniversary of Dhaka International University was held on April 7, 2009.The Honorable Minister Ghulam Muhammed Quader, in charge of Biman and Civil Aviation Ministry graced the occasion as the chief guest. Md. Israfil Alam, Member of the Parliament; Professor Dr. Nurul Momen, the Vice Chancelor of the University; Barrister Shamim Haider Patwary, Vice-Chairman; Advocate Rokaya Islam,Chairman, Finance Committee of the University and Professor Dr. Abdur Rashid, Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, Dhaka University was present on the occasion. Dr. Shahidul Quadir Patwari, Chairman, Board of Governors of the University presided over the ceremony.
Semniar on Pictorial Warning & Tobacco Control
Dhaka International University arranged a demanding seminar on “Pictorial Warning & Tobacco Control” in its Business Campus at Banani on 23rd June 2009. National Professor Dr. M. R Khan graced the function as the Chief Guest. Dr. Shahidul Quadir Patwari, Barrister Shamim Haider Patwary, Advocate Rokaya Islam and Professor Dr. Lutfur Rahman was present on the occasion, while Professor Dr. Nurul Momen, the Vice Chancelor of the University chaired the function.
