Application for Admission

A candidate seeking admission to a program must procure prescribed Application From from DIU office on payment of TK. 300.00 Candidates having 2nd Division or at least GPA 2.50 in both SSC & HSC examinations or equivalents are eligible to apply for admission into the Honors Program in Law, Business Administration, English and Socialogy. For BSc. in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) and Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (EETE) program candidates must have physics & their HSC level. For Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) program candidates must have Biology& Chamistry at their HSC level. For MBA program and for M. A in English (21/2 years cource) program the applicants must have at least Bachelor`s degree with 5 points.

Diploma Programs

The minimum requirement for admission to diploma programs is graduation from any disicipline. For other types of education, DIU admission office may be contacted for determining equivalence.

Selection

The final selection for admission will be based on the applicant`s previous academic records. They will have to produce all available original certificates/ testimonials and mark sheets/ transcripts of all the examinations. At the time of admission, candidates will complete the above formalities must pay the requisite admission fee for the enrollment within the time specified. DIU being a multi-cultural university encourages the students of the South and the South East Asia and other countries of the world to enroll in its programs. A student who will satisfy the above mentioned eligibility, criteria or equivalent qualifications are welcome to apply. The tuition fee of the programs at DIU is highly minimized sothat the middle class and poor students can study here.
